Electrochemical Electrodes & Metal Mesh Materials

Electrode substrates, coated titanium anodes, and research mesh materials for industrial electrochemical applications.

Share your drawing, material specification, or operating conditions to discuss a suitable product configuration.

01 / CORE ELECTRODE PRODUCTS

Electrodes built around application requirements

Two priority product families for electrochemical projects. Substrate geometry, coating specifications, electrical connections, and service conditions must be confirmed for each order.

MMO / TITANIUM ANODES

MMO Titanium Anodes

Mixed metal oxide coated titanium anodes for selected electrochemical processes, including compatible chloride electrolysis and water treatment systems.

Discuss: Electrolyte, current density, coating chemistry and operating life criteria.

Supply format: Mesh, plate or other geometry according to verified manufacturing capability.

Discuss MMO anodes →

PLATINUM / TITANIUM ANODES

Platinized Titanium Anodes

Platinum-coated titanium electrode options for applications requiring a specified platinum surface and a suitable titanium substrate.

Discuss: Platinum coating specification, electrolyte, geometry and contact design.

Supply format: Available form and coating process must be verified for the project.

02 / ELECTRODE SUBSTRATES

Three substrate forms. Different specifications.

A material name alone does not determine an electrode. Woven wire mesh, expanded metal mesh, and metal foam have different structures, surface characteristics, and procurement parameters.

Select the structure first, then confirm metal grade, surface treatment, dimensions, and electrochemical operating conditions.

01 / INTERLACED METAL WIRES

Woven Wire Mesh

Woven from crossing metal wires to form defined openings. Can be evaluated as a conductive substrate or fabricated mesh component when the material and electrochemical conditions are suitable.

Key specifications: Mesh count, wire diameter, aperture, weave type, sheet or roll size, wire grade and purity.

Material options for inquiry: Titanium, nickel, platinum, silver, tungsten and aluminum — availability varies by grade and specification.

02 / SLIT & STRETCHED SHEET

Expanded Metal Mesh

Made by slitting and stretching metal sheet into a continuous open structure, without woven intersections. Titanium expanded mesh is a common electrode-substrate geometry.

Key specifications: SWD, LWD, strand width, strand thickness, raised or flattened form, panel size and connection design.

Material options for inquiry: Titanium, nickel, aluminum and silver — individual metal structures require supply confirmation.

03 / THREE-DIMENSIONAL POROSITY

Metal Foam

An interconnected porous metal structure rather than a woven or expanded two-dimensional mesh. Nickel foam is the current priority for research electrodes and related substrate inquiries.

Key specifications: PPI, thickness, porosity, areal density, nickel purity, sheet dimensions and required surface treatment.

Material options for inquiry: Nickel foam; other metal foams remain under research.

03 / REAL PROCESS REFERENCES

Manufacturing and inspection, shown clearly

Real workshop and testing photographs help illustrate the process. These examples relate to titanium-anode preparation and inspection; exact manufacturing and testing arrangements depend on the electrode ordered.

04 / APPLICATIONS

Where electrode requirements begin

Electrochlorination

Titanium electrode and coating selection for chloride-containing electrolysis systems.

Sodium Hypochlorite Generation

Electrodes for compatible on-site hypochlorite generation and water disinfection equipment.

Saltwater Pool Chlorination

Substrate and coated-electrode requirements for OEM and replacement projects; complete cell compatibility must be confirmed.

OEM & REPLACEMENT INQUIRIES

A drawing is often the best starting point.

Please share an existing electrode drawing, material or coating specification, equipment reference, and operating medium.

We can review what information is available and identify the remaining specifications needed for a quotation.
